Vous cherchez une activité pour les vacances de la Toussaint? L’Open de La Bresse, le tournoi vosgien annuel d’échecs, est tenue à La Bresse (France) du samedi 29 octobre jusqu’au mardi 1er novembre 2011.
Les dernières années, plusieurs joueurs d’échecs luxembourgeois ont participé à ce tournoi et ont eu de bonnes expériences. Le tournoi se déroule en trois catégories (A, B et C) et est adapté à tous les niveaux de compétences et d’âges.
En 2010 Elisabetta et Vangelis Sakiotis ensemble avec Alex Sorras, l’entraineur du club, ont représenté notre club Gambit Bonnevoie au tournoi avec beaucoup de succès (voir les résultats 2010 et quelques photos).
Le tournoi est organisé par le club d’échecs Stanislas Échecs de Nancy et aura lieu dans l’auberge de jeunesse à La Bresse (Vosges, environ 250 km de Luxembourg). L’auberge propose un hébergement très correct surtout dans des chambres à 4 lits avec douche/WC et pension complète de bonne qualité. L’auberge offre aussi une piscine, ping-pong, baby-foot et une salle de jeux dans la maison, et bien sûr un environnement attrayant. Les prix sont très raisonnables et si vous voulez plus de confort vous pouvez choisir un des hôtels en ville.
La Commission des Jeunes de la FLDE veut soutenir la participation des jeunes joueurs de la Fédération cette année spécifiquement. Après des discussions avec les organisateurs le groupe de Luxembourg va disposer d’une salle d’analyse séparée de l’auberge. Elle veut soutenir la surveillance des enfants (non accompagnés), l’entraînement et la préparation des parties durant le tournoi et les frais d’inscription des joueurs d’échecs dans les limites du budget disponible. Par ailleurs, elle propose d’aider à l’organisation du voyage de retour.

Looking for something to do during the All Saints holidays? The annual Open de la Bresse” chess tournament will take place this year from Saturday the 29th of October until Tuesday the 1st of November in La Bresse (France).
In recent years, some Luxembourg chess players have participated in this tournament and have reported good experiences. The tournament is organized in three categories (A, B and C) and is suitable for all skill levels and ages.
Last year Elisabetta and Vangelis Sakiotis together with Alex Sorras, the trainer of our club, have represented our club Gambit Bonnevoie with success (see 2010 results and pictures).
The tournament is organized by the Chess Club Echecs Stanislas of Nancy and takes place in a youth hostel in La Bresse (Vosges Mountains, about 250 km from Luxembourg). The hostel offers basic comfort accommodation mainly in 4-bed rooms with private shower / WC and full board with good food. The hostel also disposes of an in-door swimming pool, table tennis, table football and a games room in the same building and of course an attractive environment. The prices are very reasonable and if you want more comfort you can choose one of the hotels or guesthouses in town.
The Youth Commission of FLDE would like to support this year specifically the participation of young players of our federation. After discussions with the organizers the Luxemburg group will have its own private room near the playing hall for game analysis and preparation. Within the available budget FLDE wants to support people who take care for (unaccompanied) children, chess training (analyses and preparation) and the registration fees of the young chess players. Furthermore, they offer to help in organizing the trip.
