The Chess Olympiad 2024 is now taking place in Budapest.
Several players from our club are among the competitors: GM Banusz, GM Sebenik, WIM Fiona Steil-Antoni, WFM Bruna Geske, as well as two players who will represent our club at the ECC – WGM Elvira Berend and WGM Yuliia Osmak.
Furthermore, GM Petar Arnaudov is the captain of the Bulgarian women’s team – the current European champions.
GM Sebenik won with an imminent spectacular checkmate against the Japanese player Aoshima in round 2:
