Rapid Chess der U20 in Echternach – Tanguy Meisch neuer Landesmeister

Tanguy Meisch (Esch) hieß am Ende der glückliche Gewinner der Meisterschaften U20 im Schnellschach, die in Echternach ausgetragen wurde. Alice Biryukov (Differdingen) hatte vor der letzten Runde noch einen halben Punkt Vorsprung und mit Nadine Kremer (Düdelingen) eigentlich eine lösbare Aufgabe, verlor jedoch diese letzte, entscheidende Partie. Damit musste sie nicht nur Meisch den Sieg überlassen, sondern wurde auch noch von Kremer überholt, da der direkte Vergleich bei Punktegleichstand entscheidet. Insgesamt waren 19 Spieler angetreten, so dass die acht elostärksten ein Vollrundenturnier austrugen. Das B-Turnier über fünf Runden gewann Lindsay Bouzek (Esch) vor Michael Yankelevich und Elsa Blond Hanten (beide Differdingen).

FIDE World Chess Championship between Anand and Gelfand

The World Chess Championship 2012 will be a match between the current world champion Viswanathan Anand and Boris Gelfand, winner of the Candidates tournament. The match will start on Friday the 11th of May.

Féstival d’Échecs pour Jeunes les 26/27 mai 2012 à Differdange

Le samedi 26 et dimanche 27 mai 2012 le Cercle d’Échecs Le Cavalier Differdange organise un Festival d’Échecs pour Jeunes.

Le Festival consiste d’un Open à parties longues (5 rondes à 90 minutes) avec calcul ELO qui aura lieu le samedi et la 24ème édition du Tournoi international jeunes Differdange (7 rondes à 15 minutes) qui aura lieu le dimanche.

Pit Reiff gagne le tournoi de jeunes du Challenge Hasi Schmitz

Notre Pit Reiff a gagné le tournoi de jeunes du Challenge Hasi Schmitz. Félicitations! Il était le meilleur des 34 jeunes joueurs avec un score de 6,5 sur 7 jeux joués. Bravo également à Stefan Maltezeanu et Conor McCabe pour leur performance solide.

Le tournoi principal a été gagné par Tom Weber juste devant notre Zoran Stanic, tous les deux avec 6 points. À noter également la performance de Evangelos Sakiotis qui est devenu 25ème des 44 joueurs, mais avec une performance réelle de 1800 ELO.

Voici le résumé en allemand que Pierre Christen a écrit pour le Luxemburger Wort:

Tom Weber (Beles) konnte bereits zum dritten Mal das Hauptturnier für sich entscheiden und darf den Wanderpokal nunmehr behalten. Er konnte fünf Partien gewinnen und gab nur zwei Remis gegen Vereinskollegen ab. Ebenfalls sechs Punkte erreichte Zoran Stanic (Bonneweg), der aber in der dritten Runde eine frühe Niederlage einstecken musste und dadurch in der Feinwertung unterlegen war. Der dritte Rang ging mit 5,5 Punkten an Gilles Daubenfeld (Beles). Es folgen Claude Hoegener (Beles), Faik Berisha (Wittlich), Lev Yankelevich (Differdingen), Armin Müllen (Wittlich) und Serge Krier (Junglinster), die alle fünf Punkte totalisierten. Das Jugendturnier gewann etwas überraschend mit 6,5 Punkten Pit Reiff (Bonneweg), der sich gegen stärker eingeschätzte Konkurrenz behaupten konnte. Mit einem halben Punkt Rückstand wird Kevin Renn (Differdingen) Zweiter. Mit fünf Zählern folgen Enno Fandel (Trier), Elangkumaran Jeyachandran (Differdingen), Vic Schomer (Echternach), Bob Schreiner (Düdelingen) und David Brassel (Differdingen). 44 Erwachsene und 34 Jugendspieler waren der Einladung des Wasserbilliger Schachklubs gefolgt und haben an dieser 15. Ausgabe des Wanderpokals “Hasi Schmitz” teilgenommen.

12th European Youth Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship (14-19 July 2012)

Pour les jeunes, ce tournoi comptera pour le concours trophée des jeunes de la FLDE!

23rd International Chess and Games Festival Czech Open 2012

Let us invite you most cordially to the 23rd International Chess and Games Festival CZECH OPEN 2012, which will take place 12th – 29th July in Pardubice (the Czech Republic). Within the frame of the festival there will be more than 100 tournaments in chess and other games, besides other things European Amateurs Championship and European Youth Championship in Chess. More detailed information should be found on http://www.czechopen.net/en/news/. The festival website will be ready till the end of April.

Furthermore we would like to invite you to the 3rd International Chess Festival HRADEC KRALOVE OPEN 2012, which will be held 12th -19th May 2012 in the city of Hradec Kralove (the Czech Republic). More detailed information on http://www.czechtour.net/hradec-kralove-open/.

Challenge Geesseknäppchen 2012 – Résultats

65 élèves de 13 différentes écoles ont participé Lors du Challenge Geesseknäppchen 2012. Deux jeunes joueurs de Gambit Bonnevoie se sont retrouvés tout en haut du classement:

  • 6ème place: Conor McCabe avec 6.5 points (sur 9 matchs disputés)
  • 7ème place: Pit Reiff avec également 6.5 points (sur 9 matchs disputés)

Félicitations!

Le tournoi a été gagné par Tanguy Meisch avec le score maximal de 9 points.

Invitation Championnats ABC 2012/Einladung ABC Meisterschaften 2012

Nous avons reçu l’invitation ci-après aux Championnats ABC 2012 de la part du Cercle des échecs Dudelange qui organisera les championnats individuels ABC cette année:

Chers (chères) ami(e)s des échecs,

Faisant suite aux Informations officielles  No 6 2011/2012 de la Commission technique du 3 janvier dernier, je vous rappelle, ainsi qu’à vos membres que le CED – Cercle des échecs Dudelange organisera en 2012 les championnats individuels ABC ;

Seront joués, trois tournois séparés en fonction des cotes ELO des joueurs, ouverts à tout joueur disposant d’une licence FLDE :

A)     ELO > 1999
B)      1699 < ELO < 2000
C)      1199 < ELO < 1700

Ces tournois se disputeront à cadence longue et sur 7 rondes, suivant la cadence Fischer :

Samedi, le 7 avril 2012 : 1re ronde à 10H00 et 2e ronde à 17H00 ;
Lundi, le 9 avril 2012 : 3e ronde à 17H00 ;
Jeudi, le 12 avril 2012 : 4e ronde à 17H00 ;
Vendredi, le 13 avril 2012 : 5e ronde à 17H00 ;
Samedi, le 14 avril 2012 : 6e ronde à 15H00 ;
Dimanche, le 15 avril 2012 : 7e ronde à 15H00 ;

Sur le site Internet de notre club a été publiée une page spéciale dédiée aux championnats ABC 2012 avec toutes les informations nécessaires, cf. http://abc.ced.lu/ ;

La venue des championnats en 2012 sera à nouveau  l’Annexe Alliance du Lycée Nic.-Biever (notre salle de réserve en championnat par équipes), cf. http://abc.ced.lu/ou-wo-where.aspx ;

Pour l’inscription jusqu’au 6.04.2012 -17H00, date limite afin de pouvoir organiser la salle de jeu, veuillez exclusivement vous enregistrer via : http://abc.ced.lu/registration.aspx ;

Passé ce délai, nous nous réservons le droit de n’accepter plus que 6 inscriptions tardives par tournoi (A, B ou C), le lendemain avant la 1re ronde.
