On Sunday, 7 September, the Open de la Rentrée took place, excellently organized by the Dommeldange-Beggen Chess Club. The event saw a dominant performance by Taha Rostami, who impressively won all of his games to take first place.
The Gambit was represented by a number of players . Standout performances were delivered by WGM Narmin Khalafova, the winner of the 2024 edition, who secured the 3rd place, and Adam Amroune, one of our promising young talents, who finished 11th out of 127 participants.
