The achievement

Gambit finished second with 12 match points, level with champions Cercle d’Echecs de Monte-Carlo, who took gold on the Olympiad Sonneborn–Berger tie-break (159.5 to 145). Gambit’s fourth-seeded women beat all three higher-seeded teams: SuperChess Romania 3–1, Monte-Carlo 2.5–1.5 and Sirmium Sremska Mitrovica 2.5–1.5. A final-round 2.5–1.5 victory over Crvena Zvezda secured silver.

🥉 Aleksandra Maltsevskaya — bronze, board 4.

The medals follow the official prize rules: eligible reserves compete for the board-four award in the women’s section. Chess-Results lists reserves separately, so its board-four table alone is not the final medal order. Gulnar Mammadova’s reserve performance places her ahead of Elisabeth Paehtz and Aleksandra Maltsevskaya in that combined category.
