The 3rd edition of Wapichess, organised by Échiquier Leuzois 541, will take place from 24 to 31 October 2026 in Leuze-en-Hainaut, Belgium.
The tournament is FIDE-rated and welcomes players from Belgium and abroad. In 2025, Wapichess attracted 49 participants, and the organisers hope for an even larger international field this year.

- Time control: 90 minutes + 30 seconds per move
- Players may take up to two byes before round 7
Entry fees
- Adults: €30
- Juniors U20: €20
- Titled players: free entry
- A €5 surcharge applies to registrations from 19 October 2026
Prize fund
100% of all entry fees will be returned to the prize fund, with an additional €1,500 provided by the organisers.
